Random Questions On Randomness
Is randomness really a word?

Is something NOT random if its odds are not 50-50?

What if they are 51-49? Does that mean it isn't random?

Are there better uses for our time than studying the randomness (or lack thereof) of a coin flip?

Were people not aware that a coin (assuming the odds at 50-50) can still land heads up every single time? Isn't that why odds are probability instead of fact?

Did we not already know that the force applied would affect the outcome of the flip?

Were we not previously aware that a coin flipped does not rotate with perfect accuracy and, in fact, sometimes spins and turns out of control? And if so, didn't we already assume that affected the outcome?

Was this a fairly stupid article, dressed up in the trappings of interesting?

Does stating my opinions in the form of questions, in actuality, make this far more interesting than it truly deserves to be?
