This is a fun story from Wednesday night, working at AP. I was picking up after the library had closed and I went in the back to the children's area. We have a miniature table and chairs for the kids and sitting there, quietly, reading books, were two little monkeys.
Now, because my camera phone isn't the greatest, I hope you can see this clearly. One of our support staff, Hilarion, decided that our puppets were better off actively participating in the library, rather than just hanging around waiting to be played with. I thought this was adorable and had to share it with all of you. It was a fun surprise for the end of the night. If only the children were that quiet and studious; maybe we should leave it like that in hopes that the kids will imitate the primates. For a much better picture (gotta love the i-phone) check out Meg's blog which also gives a shout out to me for finding these furry friends.
